Plumbing Contractors Association of Long Island (PCALI) Donates $7,500 to Island Harvest
Organization Helping to Fill Local Food Pantries for the Holidays

The Plumbing Contractors Association of Long Island (PCALI) is proud to have donated $7,500 to Island Harvest. John Maccarone, PCALI’s President said, “We wanted provide a donation that will help Long Island’s families have a fulfilling meal during the holiday season. Island Harvest does a wonderful job providing food to tens of thousands across Nassau and Suffolk Counties.”

“Island Harvest is exceptionally grateful for PCALI’s generous donation,” said Randi Shubin Dresner, president and CEO, Island Harvest Food Bank. “PCALI’s gift will help put food on the table of many Long Island families who unfortunately know hunger first hand.”

PCALI’s mission is to advance the plumbing industry, promote the overall welfare of Nassau and Suffolk plumbing contractors, bargain collectively in a manner that will optimize labor relations in the trade and industry, and promote the good will of the plumbing industry and the public at large. Island Harvest is the largest hunger relief organization on Long Island. By relying on volunteers, in-kind services, and donated food, they devote more than 95 cents of every dollar contributed directly to their programs.
